Hi, I’m Rick with BlueFletch. Today we’re excited to review the TC21/26 from Zebra Technologies. Released in June 2020, this device is designed to provide the feature set one would expect from Zebra. But at a more competitive price point, the device launches with Android 11 and is upgradeable to android 14. Zebra also offers this device in two configurations the Wi-Fi-only TC21 for workers inside the four walls and the TC26 With Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity for workers in the field. Customers also have the choice between 1.8 and 2.2 gigahertz processors.

Zebra is a dedicated scan engine for one, and 2D scanning with two buttons on either side of the device is also available. Although this form factor is thinner than a traditional Zebra device, It’s rated for IP 6/7. it remains waterproof and dustproof and can withstand drops on concrete, snow, rain, heat, and freezing cold temperatures. The TC21/26 also has digital wallet support for contactless transactions. With support for Apple’s value-added service in Google smart tap, this device is equipped to serve the needs of customers looking to quickly tap and invent ticket loyalty card gift cards or even boarding passes.

So what does this mean for BlueFletch products or customers? The front-facing five-megapixel camera is great for video calls. And we also leverage it for visual reauthentication. The rear-facing 13-megapixel camera is great for capturing video or images out in the field. We’d like Zebra’s dedicated push-to-talk button. Their integration for leveraging push to talk within your applications is one of the best we’ve seen so far. BlueFletch Enterprise Chat is launching very soon, and we’re excited about the VO LTE and via Wi-Fi capabilities that are included as part of Zebra’s Mobility DNA enterprise license. This promises to deliver superior voice quality over all your Wi-Fi voice applications. NFC is very important to us we leverage NFC for quick authentication but also for passwordless authentication for Enterprise Launcher with FIDO2-compliant keys we also love the screen size this five inch gorilla glass display has plenty of space to interact with your applications. Also, the touchscreen is easily viewable indoors and outside and in bright sunlight. Bluetooth 5.0 BLE is great for connecting to all your Bluetooth accessories. Overall, you’ll find this feature-packed device for customers who need rugged capabilities with a slim form factor similar to a consumer phone.

Thank you for watching. Make sure to like and subscribe to BlueFletch’s channel we’ll be back with more device reviews
